Looks great, moons are well-sized in calendar!
This is a wonderful, useful app, but it does have some irritants and there are some places where improvements could be made. Well worth a buck!

Please add another option--you occasionally prompt us at launch to "Rate Now" or "Later"-- but many of us have already rated it!
December 11, 2016
Still not fixed! Its irritating to get a prompt to rate. We launch the app to see the calendar and the moons phases, not get a prompt!
Its even more irritating when its a binary choice and the reality is that a 3rd choice and 4th choice are needed -- "Already Rated" and "Stop Bothering Me Already"! :-)
It also doesnt make sense that the rating prompt seems to appear *after* we havent used the app for a while. That doesnt make sense in any universe!

REST OF THE REVIEW
Suggestion: There needs to be an easy way to get back to the current time-- a "Now" button would be a great addition!
Also, one expects that tapping on Sunrise or Sunset icons would change the view (2nd screen), but it does NOT.
Those would garner it the 5th star!

Prior review
Ill post more thoughts later, but wanted to correct another reviewer who said that the Moon images in the calendar view were small!
Well, on the iPad Mini, they certainly arent! Either the app has changed or the person was mistakenly reviewing the Lunar Calendar app that does look as if its Moon images are under-sized (see screenshots here for that app).
Theres also a star chart app, Astromist, that has a Moon calendar built in, but its images are tiny!
The screenshots here are reliable and if you double tap the images in iTunes, it will expand to fill the screen showing you just what it looks like!
For a dollar this is well worth it!
My one reservation is the self-serving promo that opens the apps blurb here:
"The best moon calendar app in the app store".
It may well be, but its bad form to make such an obviously subjective, self-congratulatory statement. I almost didnt buy it because of that!
More later!

Well, as another reviewer noted, the compass display seems off by 180 degrees. There should be an option for us to rotate it, so that East is to the left, South at the top, and West to the right.
After all, for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, the Moon moves through the southern part of the sky and wed be facing South to observe it! 1 star demerit! :-). Otherwise, the time, height in sky display is quite spiffy.
I suppose we can greedy and wish for a fixed display and change the day, watching the Moon go through the sky, changing phases. Maybe version #2?!
Aha! Just discovered it can do that by bringing up the calendar day picker... Sweet!
