As a Buddhist I am very tied to new and full moon. I love how visual it is and it is great to plan early morning or evening kayaking during full moon . A favorite app.

I use this app when thinking about a night flight. I can know well in advance if I should even consider the flight based on the probability of seeing clouds. If there will be less than a 1/2 moon look for other options.

I originally discovered and purchased the MoonCalendar software for Windows XP, eleven years ago and have been an avid user ever since. Because updates and OS upgrades are free for licensed users, a rare commodity which I am grateful for, MoonCalendar is installed on my Windows 7 and 10 platform computers and laptops. A few years ago I discovered the availability of MoonCalendars IOS App version shortly after buying my first iPhone, the 4s, and continue to enjoy MoonCalendar software on all platforms today. My main purpose for using MoonCalendar began with interest in tracking precise phases of the moon. As in my case, the software and app make a conveniently uncomplicated tool for Spiritual Enthusiasts, Energy Workers, Astrologers, and active Shamanic practitioners like me. But, as you can see in reviews written here and at amazon.com, MoonCalendar has many, many uses for a variety of needs to fit everyones needs.
